How to set your page's price

Setting your price is one of the most important parts of your page. This is where you say how much the product costs, which currency it sells in and, if you want, show that it is on sale.

There is nothing complicated about it. In a few clicks you set everything up, and changes save on their own as you type. This guide shows you where each field is, how to signal a discount and how Pagely's fee works on your earnings so there are no surprises at the end of the month.

  1. 1

    Open the page's sale options

In the dashboard, go to "My pages" and find the card for the page you want to adjust.

On the card you'll see a few buttons: "edit", which changes the look of the page, "configure", which is the settings gear, and "publish" or "unpublish".

To change the price, click "configure". You'll land on the Sale options page, where everything related to the sale itself lives.

  2. 2

Set the product name, price and currency

Right at the top of the Sale options page you'll find the main fields.

Fill in the product name. This is the name the buyer sees at checkout, so use something clear that they'll recognize.

Next, type the price. The currency sits right next to the price field, so pick the currency you want to sell in there, for example BRL, USD or EUR, depending on your country.

No need to look for a save button. Everything is saved automatically as you type.

  3. 3

Show a crossed-out old price to signal a sale

Just below is the "original price (optional)" field. It's there to show that the product has a discount.

Here's how it works: you put a higher value there, and it appears crossed out next to the current price. The buyer takes one look and instantly understands they're paying less than the full price.

For example, if the current price is 79.90 and you put 119.90 as the original price, the page shows 119.90 crossed out and highlights 79.90.

Use it when the product is genuinely on sale, or when you want to give that little "worth it right now" nudge. If there's no discount, leave this field blank. It's optional and you don't have to fill it in.

  4. 4

Understand how the 3.9% fee works on your account

Pagely charges a 3.9% fee per sale. This fee comes out of the amount you receive, meaning it's taken from what reaches you.

One important detail: the fee applies only to the product, never to shipping. Shipping is passed on to you in full.

Here's a simple example. Say you sell a product for 100, plus 15 for shipping. The 3.9% fee is calculated only on the 100 from the product, which comes to 3.90. You receive the 100 minus 3.90, plus the full 15 for shipping. In the end, 111.10 lands in your account.

The money from the sale goes straight to your account, without passing through Pagely along the way.

  5. 5

Do the math so you don't sell at a loss

Before settling on a price, it's worth adding up everything the product costs you. Think about the purchase or production cost, the packaging and any other expense to get the order ready.

Then add your margin, which is how much you want to earn on each sale. The final price is the sum of all of that.

Remember that the buyer pays for shipping separately, so it doesn't need to factor into your margin. What you need to make sure of is that the product price covers its costs and still leaves a profit for you.

Also remember to subtract the 3.9% fee when working out what you actually keep. A price that looks good on paper can get tight if you forget about it.

FAQ

Do I need to click save after changing the price?

No. Everything on the Sale options page saves on its own as you type. You can adjust the price and close the page with peace of mind.

Is the original price required?

No, it's optional. Only fill it in if you want to show a crossed-out old price to signal that the product is on sale. If there's no discount, leave it blank.

Is the 3.9% fee also charged on shipping?

No. The fee applies only to the product value. Shipping is passed on to you in full, with no deduction at all.

Can I sell in dollars or euros?

Yes, depending on your country. The currency sits next to the price field, and you choose there from the available options, such as BRL, USD or EUR.

When does the sale money land in my account?

The money from the sale goes straight to your account, without passing through Pagely along the way. It arrives with the 3.9% fee already deducted from the product value.
